Himachal BJP MLA Hans Raj Faces Child Sexual Abuse Case

A BJP legislator from Himachal Pradesh Hans Raj is facing the Protection Of Children from Sexual Offences (POSCO) Act following the sexual assault accusation by a minor.

As per reports, the legislator has been booked under Section 6 (aggravated penetrative sexual assault) of POSCO Act and Section 69 which deals with criminalizing sexual intercourse through decietful means of the Bhartiya Btaya Sanhita.

The complaint has been registered at Women Police station on Friday, says the reports.

As per police sources, the women recorded her statement under section 183 of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita (BNNS) in the court of the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Chamba, after which the FIR was registered.

Last week, the women labels serious allegations after she went live on facebook, accusing the legislator of sexual exploitation, intimidation. She claimed to have the supportive evidences.
