Everyone knows the fictional character “Rambo.” But did you know who the real Rambo was?
Are you aware of the Muslim hero who single-handedly fought a bloody war against the world’s greatest power?
Let me introduce him to you — this hero was Ahmad Al-Matroosh from Algeria.
This brave warrior, with the help of Allah Almighty and on his own, killed 611 French occupying soldiers.
In 1957, he also eliminated a major and prominent French general named Santos Pierre.
This hero destroyed dozens of farms, factories, mansions, prisons, and warehouses that were owned by French officers — turning them into ruins and transforming the occupiers’ facilities into hell. He forced hundreds of officers and soldiers to resign and flee.

After much resistance, the occupiers finally captured this hero and placed him in a high-security prison.
But Ahmad Al-Matroosh spent only three months there before escaping and returning once again to jihad.
Not long after, he was martyred in direct combat with the occupiers in the Sétif region.
Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return.
He fought against a large and heavily armed army, and before attaining martyrdom, he sent 60 more French occupiers to hell.

The French government censored the media to prevent Muslim youth from learning about this hero and following in his footsteps. To this day, almost nothing has been said in the media about him.
