
Jammu Kashmir Cricket Association Announces Squad for Ranji Trophy 2025
Srinagar, October 4, 2025: The Jammu & Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) has announced its 20-member squad for the upcoming Ranji Trophy 2025–26 season. The team has been finalized following the recommendations of the Senior Men’s Selection Committee, chaired by Mr. Sarabjeet Singh, and was formally approved by the Sub-Committee of the JKCA.
According to Order No. 55/2025, issued by JKCA Member Administration Brigadier Anil Gupta (Retd.), Paras Dogra will lead the Jammu and Kashmir side in the domestic season. The squad includes a blend of experienced players and emerging young talents who are expected to strengthen the team’s prospects in India’s premier first-class cricket tournament.
The selected players for the Ranji Trophy 2025–26 are Paras Dogra (Captain), Shubham Khajuria, Abdul Samad, Vivrant Sharma, Qamran Iqbal, Kawalpreet Singh, Sahil Lotra, Abid Mushtaq, Vanshaj Sharma, Yawer Hassan, Musaif Ajjaz, Sunil Kumar, Rohit Sharma, Umran Malik, Umar Nazir, Auqib Nabi, Kanhaiya Wadhawan, Yudhvir Singh, Mujtaba Yousuf and Lone Nasir Muzaffar.
Along with the players, the association has also appointed a full support staff to accompany the team throughout the season. Ajay Sharma will serve as the Head Coach, while P. Krishna Kumar will take charge as Bowling Coach and Dishant Yagnik as Fielding Coach. Hilal Ahmad has been named as Manager and Ravi Sharma as Co-Manager. The team’s fitness and medical department will be handled by Trainer Sunny Verma, Physiotherapist Chirag Pandya, Video Analyst Susheel Pajnu, and Masseur Naresh Kumar.

The JKCA expressed confidence that the squad, under the leadership of Paras Dogra, will deliver strong performances in the upcoming Ranji season. The association emphasized that the selection reflects a balance between experience and youth, aiming to provide opportunities for promising players from Jammu and Kashmir to showcase their skills on the national stage.
The team will represent Jammu and Kashmir in the 2025–26 Ranji Trophy, one of the most prestigious competitions in Indian domestic cricket, and the association has extended its best wishes to the players and support staff for a successful campaign.
